5 Months

 

5 Months have gone by in a flash, and Evelyn has grown and changed so much!  She plays with toys, rolls all over, and seems to always be holding onto a book.  She likes to talk..first she started with Ohh, then switched to lots of Ahhhs.   She is also interested in textures.  She likes to touch everything from shower curtains and towels to carpet and blankets and put it all in her mouth for good measure.  Her sleep at night is getting a lot better, and there have been more frequent 5 hour stretches at night.

Four weeks ago, Eddie started his temp job.  It's been a big adjustment having Daddy gone from 7 to 4.  We definitely go to bed much earlier on this new schedule!  Here he is off to work.

The first week of work, we visited for lunch with Daddy at Panera Bread.

 She is very good at Tummy Time and rolls from belly to back very well.

Evelyn also started a few solid foods like watery rice cereal and peas.  She actually loves peas!  Her she is trying them for the first time.

Back in July, we had Evelyn's 3 month photos taken at the Sears in Greensburg.  The photographer there did a great job with her and got Evelyn to show tons of smiles.  We were just back from the beach-hence the beach theme.  Here are our favorites.
