Fourth Of July 2013

For the Fourth of July this year, we were happy to host our friends Michael and Melissa French and their daughter, Emmy, who were in town from North Carolina

Emmy helps feed Evelyn her dinner.

Melissa brought fun glow sticks for the girls.  They were a big hit!

Melissa also brought sparklers, but since it rained the whole day, we had to light them in the garage. 

Evelyn held onto one for 10 seconds before she cried.

Party In PA

After teaching in Lenoir City was over, Eddie, Grammy, Evelyn and I traveled to PA for Tommy's 4th birthday party.

On our way with a quick stop at Bob Evans and some outlet shopping. 

Evelyn was so cute in the car.  She played with her toy phone and ipod. 

She loved watching shows on the ipad mini, too. 

Tommy was super excited about his birthday.  He kept asking, "Is it 2 o'clock yet?"  I let him open his gift from us before the party.

Evelyn was very afraid of the bounce house at first.  After the party, we all got in, and she warmed up to it rather quickly.
