Home Depot Days

Right after Halloween and before James was born, Grandma and Grandpa took Evelyn to Home Depot for the kids workshop.  It happens the first Saturday of every month, and the children work on a specific project.  You are supposed to be 5, but they let it slide;)  This first time, she built a ship.

She got her own apron with her name on it that you bring back each time.

Hammering with help from Grandpa.

Painting with help from Grandma.

Tah-dah!

And you get a certificate of completion and a pin.  Well done!

Baby James William Has Arrived

Our sweet baby, James William, arrived on November 13, 2013, at 3:38 in the afternoon.  We had such a difficult time picking out a name that we decided to borrow our fathers' middle names and put them together. He was 8lbs 4 oz and 19 inches long.  It was a fast and safe delivery..we arrived at 10:30am, and a short 5 hours later, he was here.

Just the three of us before we head to the hospital...Evelyn stayed home with Grammy.

Waiting for the word to push.

He's here!

Grammy brings Evelyn to meet James later that evening.

Evelyn gets her temp taken just like Mommy.

Already he's hungry and gnawing on his fingers...

Enjoying a hearty breakfast from the cafeteria.

Kim came over from work to meet James.

Watch out, little brother!

School Festival and Halloween 2013

Evelyn's daycare had their Fall Festival/fundraiser the weekend before Halloween.

This is her class basket that all of the Blue Room parents contributed to.  The theme was coffee.

Painting her orange pumpkin.

Inside the bounce house...she only got punched in the nose twice:(

Enjoying the hot dogs and chips.
