Last week, Evelyn and I journeyed to PA for Gracie's 2nd birthday. It was a dramatic time getting there as our 6:15am flight was delayed for over an hour. Once we finally landed in Cincinnati, I ran, pushing Evelyn in the stroller to make our connection. Fortunately they waited for us, and we landed in Pittsburgh right on time. That night, we had Chinese at Tom and Michelle's house.

Playing in the newly finished basement.
Evelyn was walking around quite well with this stroller walker.
On Thursday, we drove to Speers so that Grammy could pick up a special retirement gift for her friend. We had a nice lunch next door. Evelyn enjoyed waving and talking to the lunch crowd.
Grammy and Evelyn.
Back at home, Evelyn enjoyed playing with all of Grammy's toys.
And she found the tupperware cabinet.
Saturday was the big birthday. Aunt Michelle did an amazing job with the carnival/circus theme!
There was a face painter...Grace enjoyed playing in the paints.
Tommy is "Super Spiderman"
There was even a balloon animal maker. Here she is with Grammy and Evelyn holding her smiley face flower.

At the airport, checking out the moving walkway.
Emptying everything from my purse.
In Atlanta, awaiting our connection and having snacks.
She is usually quiet or asleep when we fly, but during this last flight, she kept screaming da-DA the whole time. Luckily it was only a 30 minute flight, and everyone was very understanding.
At last back home with da-DA! He bought her the alphabet train for an early birthday present.
