We celebrated Evelyn's first birthday on Saturday, March 16th with a butterfly themed party. Grammy came a week early to help with everything.

Evelyn wanted nothing to do with her cake. I tried to get some between her pursed lips...guess we should be happy she likes vegetables better!

But she perked up for presents! Grace was a big help opening the gifts, and she got so many wonderful things.

Afterwards it was family photo time.
We were so happy that the weather on Saturday was beautiful and 70 degrees. We relaxed on the back deck and watched Christopher and Brian play Harry Potter with Grace and Tommy.
We tried to give Evelyn cake again after dinner. She would only put it on her finger for Tommy to lick.
Then, she enjoyed stirring it around and making a mess.
She definitely had a bath that night.
In the morning it was playtime and breakfast before everyone left at 9.
