Teaching in Lenoir City

During the third week of June, I had the opportunity to teach in Lenoir City, TN.  Grammy and Evelyn came with me, and Grammy babysat while I worked.  We stayed in a great Hampton Inn, and the desk manager gave us a giant-sized, handi-cappped  room so that Evelyn could run and play.

She liked the TV tray as her personal seat.

Riding in the elevator was LOTS of fun.

Most nights, we would get take-out and enjoy it in the lobby dining room.

Evelyn likes to sit like a big girl.

Her favorite activity was playing with the river rock pebbles that lined the outside flower beds of the Hampton.

Grammy also got her a bubble machine that was tons of fun.

She discovered the automatic doors in the lobby, too:)

And this big table had the perfect seat underneath.

Evelyn would also chill in her car seat in the room.

Grammy created a private room for Evelyn with a luggage cart and blanket!

In the morning, she wanted to test out Grammy's Aria slippers from Vegas.

On the last day we took group photos with the students.  The advanced class learned the "Les Sylphides" finale.  I was so proud that they learned it in such a short time that I cried!  They worked so hard.

The younger group learned the princesses from "Swan Lake" Act 3.  Also very quick learners and hard workers!

This is the whole group of girls and me and Evelyn.

Evelyn waited all week to get the whole studio floor to herself.  She ran all over, and director Kristi let her wave a fairy wand around much to her delight.
