Grammy Visits

Now that Grammy is retired, she has free time to come visit us in Nashville whenever she wants!  She jumped on the inaugural, non-stop, Southwest flight from Pittsburgh to Nashville, and visited with us the first week of October.  She was busy trimming all of our shrubs and weeding, washing windows, and cleaning our kitchen with vinegar and baking soda tricks.

Enjoying coffee in the morning with Mr. Bear and Lambie-pie.

Evelyn really enjoyed tackling Grammy down to the ground for Wrestlemania time the entire week!

One day we went shopping and to a cute little park in Brentwood.  Evelyn had to try all eight swings...

On Saturday, we took Evelyn to her first pumpkin patch.  It was not a cool, Fall day...it was almost 90 degrees.

They had little John Deere tractors to ride just like Pap pap's.

And a cute playground.

Evelyn's favorite part was the corn and wheat troughs she got to play in.

Resting in the shade.

Going on a hayride.

Checking out a replica pioneer homestead.

She also liked the outhouse replica!

And she popped a squat in the teepee.

Posing by the wagon.

On Good Morning America, we heard about a recipe for the World's Best Lasagna.  Grammy tried out the recipe on Sunday.

It was delicious, but Evelyn wanted a hot dog instead.

One last bout of wrestling before Grammy's flight.

We had a blast!  Thanks for all of your hard work, Grammy!
